As their wedding planner, let us start off by saying this couple is so near and dear to our hearts. And their wedding day was a splendid celebration of the sweet love these two share. Gabi and Tim’s love for each other radiates, and it was impossible not to smile on the day of when witnessing it. Yes, all these bright, fun details also played a role in how stunning this day was. But, nothing holds a candle to the looks on Gabi and Tim’s faces the whole day through. A picture is worth a thousand words, so scroll below to see more + the details on this beautiful day that started at the Hotel Clermont and concluded at Factory Atlanta.
Gabi has impeccable taste and style. It comes so naturally to her. In fact, she does advertising and marketing for small businesses and is an amazing photographer. Both Gabi and Tim’s styles and flare really came through in their wedding day design, which is what Detailed I Do’s always strives for as your wedding planner. Gabi and Tim got ready at the Hotel Clermont, which posed as a gorgeous backdrop for many of the photos earlier in the day.
Margaret of Margaret Snider Artistry did Gabi and her bridesmaids’ hair and makeup. Margaret is someone who our clients always feel comfortable and automatically connected with. She actually stayed until after the ceremony and changed Gabi’s hair to an updo so the bride could spend the rest of the night cutting up the dance floor.
Meanwhile, in Tim’s hotel room the guys got ready with the help of Clover, Gabs and Tim’s rescue pup. The day would not have been the same without Clover there, so of course he had to join in on the wedding day festivities.
Gabi and Tim created a ‘Guide To Atlanta’ for their guests as part of a their welcome package. This gave out-of-towners recommendations for the couple’s favorite Atlanta spots! We encourage our couples to share this info with traveling guests! After all, you want to make the most out of their trip for your wedding day and it adds a special personal touch.
Outside the historic hotel, Gabi and Tim had their first look and of course got some shots with Clover. I mean could he be any cuter? Check out that bow tie!
These pendant flags were such a cute detail. Later on in the evening these could be found on the prop table in front of the couple’s adorable photo corner featuring a peacock chair and a neon cactus.
Gabi and Tim looking like Grace Kelly and Cary Grant in these interior shots at Hotel Clermont. So many heart eyes for these gorgeous shots. We love the pattern play and 1950’s vibes. This whole aesthetic is unique for couple’s portraits and suites this lovely couple perfectly.
Gabi and Tim were met out front by a maroon vintage car, which served as a beautiful photo opp. Gabi’s gaze here is so beautiful and makes us smile just looking at it.
This gorgeous floral installation by Amanda Jewel Floral Design hung whimsically over what was the altar for the the ceremony and later after the space was flipped, hung over the estate table. With Factory Atlanta being such a diverse space, it’s a great venue for couples looking to mix things up with their design, which is what we thrive doing! This space is a blank canvas with no limitations.
This ceremony was so heartfelt and beautiful. Gabi’s sister officiated the ceremony and shared personal details on how the couple met and tidbits into how and why they are so perfect for each other. From the moment we sent Gabi down the aisle, you could find Detailed I Do’s wedding planner, Christine, shedding tears of joy as we listened from behind the scenes. There was not a dry eye in the house.
During the ceremony Gabi and Tim dropped items into a time capsule. They enclosed trinkets, plane tickets back and forth, love letters, and so many special items that founded their love for one another. After the ceremony, this time capsule was displayed on the welcome table along with a note from the couple.
As I said, Gabi is an amazing photographer! Oh and did I mention Tim is too?! This pair have traveled the world and captured gorgeous details along the way. The Detailed I Do’s team assembled this photo collage on the wall in the cocktail hour space so guests could enjoy their travels too.
The reception space was a mixture of beautiful blues, yellows, and pinks. The tables were a mixture of farmhouse and rounds. The round tables had three different shades of yellow linens set in a pattern that made the room look ombre. Combined with the three different napkin shades created a bright, fun atmosphere that was so pleasing to the eye.
One of Gabi and Tim’s favorite sweet treats, Kings of Pops, made an appearance at the cocktail hour and boy were guests excited. The demand for popsicles was pretty even with the demand for cocktails!
For the escort cards, each guest’s name was attached to a leather keychain with cute, Atlanta-focused sayings. This installation was on one of Factory Atlanta’s moveable walls, which served as the barrier between cocktail hour and the reception space. Guests had so much fun finding their name and acquiring their new keychain. Once cocktail hour was concluded, the wall was moved and acted as a big reveal for the couple’s gorgeous reception space.
In the reception space, this adorable photo corner was set up for guests to pose and take photos by. We loved the neon cactus, especially as the night went on, this corner became quite the popular spot for selfies.
Instead of traditional cake, Gabi and Tim chose to include ice-cream sandwiches from Honeysuckle Gelato. And just like the popsicles, guests were going crazy for these! These handheld treats were easy to grab and head right back onto the dance floor.
This whole day was a beautiful, magical, colorful memory that we’ll have forever! As a wedding planner that truly cherishes our couples so deeply, we were sad this had to end! Gabi and Tim, we consider it an honor to have planned your day and can’t wait to see what the great things future holds for you two!
