When you think summer colors, what comes to mind? Rich red, hot pink, and citrus tones are what speak to our summer-loving hearts. This wedding styled shoot at Factory Atlanta puts the fun in summertime. We mixed bright hues with a turquoise velvet linen to create the ultimate bright and fun, yet modern tablescape. Between the vibrant color palette and the contagious joy our models brought to set, this is another styled shoot for the books!
We are over the moon about this stationery from The Impressionist. These ladies know what they’re doing when it comes to paper. Each piece is hand letter-pressed and that diagonal line on the invitation was hand cut! We styled this suite with slices of citrus and multi-colored truffles from Gingerspice Bakery to add some more fun to this already incredible suite!
Our models Lani and Cullen were constantly cracking each other up. The laughter you see throughout these photos was so real and so contagious! Lani’s first look was a two piece set from Gown Collective paired with accessories from Honeycat Jewelry. Roanna of Roanna Bales Hair and Makeup created a fun coral lid on Lani and pinned her hair up in a perfectly un-perfect way. When we were in talks with Roanna before the shoot, we agreed this makeup look should be something unique and fun that would show brides a different side of bridal makeup.
Let’s just take minute to check out this jacket adding some edginess to our bright palette. We’ve really been loving bridal accessories like this lately. As a bride, your accessories should reflect who you are. And if that means a black suede moto jacket, then so be it. We’re all for edgy and fun details like this one.
The groom, Cullen, was killing it in The Black Tux’s White Dinner Jacket. Paired with a crisp white shirt and polka dot bow tie, he and Lani were a force to be reckoned with.
As Atlanta event planners, this wedding styled shoot, and all of our projects, come from a place of deep creativity and vision. We like to use styled shoots as a way for couples to gain inspiration for their big day. We travel outside the box to create unique aesthetics that incorporate design pieces that may not normally be paired together. As they say, sometimes you never know until you try!
Our tablescape features some incredible friendors (friend vendors) and without them none of this would be possible! Keep reading for more about this amazing crew of creatives!
Rentals were provided by the always on point, Mayker Creative. Tableware was provided by Tablemade.Co. and we’re in love with these asymmetrical edged ceramic plates. The glassware is from TableMade.Co’s Pure Collection. These glasses add a delicate and classic touch to this bright aesthetic. The tablescape decor was a mixture of rectangular pillar candles and ceramic votives. For this wedding styled shoot, we focused our attention on texture and color play. So, mixing ceramics with mattes and velvets makes our eclectic hearts sing.
If you’ve been following us on Instagram you know we’re obsessed with funky tableware layouts! The table setting is one of the first things guests see when they’re seated, so why not make it stand out! There are endless options with flatware and menu card positioning and we love finding a new way with each client. For this wedding styled shoot, our team decided to shift all plates to the left and balancing it out by placing dinner fork and knife off to the right. For us, it’s all about finding balance while still putting a spin on things.
We just love this shot of our head planner, Danielle, proudly holding this centerpiece. It has been Megan, our head floral designer, and Danielle’s dream for years to be able to collaborate on the same team. Now that Megan has officially joined us, we could not be more filled with joy. If you haven’t seen our floral announcement video by Justin Peay Productions from this shoot follow this link to our IGTV Channel!
For the second half of the day, Lani rocked a jumpsuit from Gown Collective. Roanna worked her magic again and added a brighter, fuchsia-toned lip and let Lani’s hair down to compliment this sexy off-the-shoulder look. These two are about to feed each other dessert, so keep scrolling.
We always know Gingerspice Bakery is going to blow our minds with each new creation, but somehow she still surprises us every time! This citrus drip cake was too beautiful for words. We love how she incorporated miniature macaroons and blackberries to pull in a darker, contrasting tone.
Gingerspice Bakery also provided us with these beautiful truffles, so naturally we made the models feed them to each other. These two had so much fun with this and could not contain their laughter.
And that’s a wrap on our final wedding styled shoot of the spring! We got to work with almost our entire team of lovely ladies, plus a lineup full of incredibly talented vendors. And a huge thanks to Diana Lupu for capturing all of this so beautifully for us! She is a working mother of 3 and in our eyes a super hero. Thank you, Diana for capturing these sweet moments between our team, too!
