Our designs are delicate and organic with a touch of romance. Our couples are gracious, and lean towards loose florals, ethereal decor, & heirloom elements. We cater to clients who appreciate design and are open to working together to create their perfect day.
We believe that there are two key aspects to consider when planning the overall feel of your wedding day. the first is the hospitality aspect - the service expertise, food selections, beverage offerings, entertainment and accommodations that comprise the event essentials that your guests will experience. Second is the aesthetic aspect - the color palette, the fabric and floral textures, the paper goods, the lighting, the way the photographer captures the day, and all other artistic elements that allow guests to experience the couples love through creative design.
When planning the hospitality elements of a wedding, we demand the best. We team up with talented, experienced professionals who deliver top notch customer service. Including highly reputable venues and resorts, caterers, florists, stationery designers, bands and DJ's.
When it comes to the aesthetic part of the planning, we enjoy getting to know our couples to draw inspiration from their personal style and interests. Your wedding should not be based on a trend or a pin on Pinterest! Since marriages are a union of two distinct individuals, we enjoy mixing and matching styles to create a completely unique design that stands the test of time. Perhaps the bride is an old soul who adores vintage finds, but the groom is more modern. Maybe you loves bold, bright colors, but your fiance appreciates more subtle hues. We love taking this opportunity to blend two styles to create a wedding that you will look back on fondly when you are celebrating your 50th anniversary.
I was born in Pennsylvania but was raised in Georgia and feel as though I have a southern drawl. Lessons from my parents, a BA in management, and my years of experience in the industry have crafted me into a confident and joyful Atlanta Wedding Planner. After numerous internships with planners, and working as a venue coordinator at multiple properties I felt a calling to start my own business and take on my own clients. You can trust me to be organized, creative, and reliable from the moment we meet.
I live for a mixture of organic and modern eclectic styling, entertaining & gardening. I love celebrating life and snuggling up to my hubby & fur babies. Inspirational words, interior design & the natural wonder of sunset calm my soul. I have a genuine appreciation of art, creativity, and a natural curiosity about the world. I look forward to Sunday brunch, travel & finding inspiration wherever I go.
Founding Detailed I Do's to me means no limits on my potential. It's about creating designs I am proud of every single day and that others can love and enjoy. It’s about getting to know my couples personally and serving my team well. It's about doing the work I am passionate about and loving on people. My life and business are intertwined in one big pretty bow and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is MY Why!
After graduating from Georgia College & State University with a BA in Mass Communication, I accepted a job with Hilton Hotels and officially began my love affair with weddings. I spent five years as a Catering Manager working on hundreds of weddings within the hotel industry. I found myself craving the ability to work with my clients on a more intimate level. In an effort to pursue my dream and passion, I began assisting Lead Planer and Owner, Danielle, three years ago and decided in Spring of 2017 to take the plunge and join the team full-time as an Associate Planner!
I am a wife to my college sweetheart, a dog mom, sister, aunt, and loyal friend. Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, my soul craves all things southern hospitality. When not working on weddings, I love to try new recipes and restaurants and host intimate gatherings with friends and loved ones (because I can never fully turn off the planning).
I thrive on the execution of a finely crafted plan and am a sucker for all things floral design. With each couple I work with, it is my goal to truly understand both personalities so that their wedding day is a beautiful reflection of their relationship. I can’t wait to get to know you and bring your wedding day vision to life!
For me, the wedding industry reeled me in unexpectedly, and won me over immediately. My experience stems from several different areas, but it all worked together so magically to get me where I am today! I was introduced to the wedding industry years ago and have always adored bridal fashion and design. I graduated from Georgia State's J. Mack Robinson College of Business with a BA in Marketing and a minor in Hospitality. I love the ins and outs of marketing and learning from our followers and supporters. I am currently the Social Media Manager / Logistics Coordinator here at Detailed I Do's and I love working alongside these wonderful women.
I love adventuring to new places, rock climbing, and petting every dog I pass in public during my spare time. My sweet boyfriend, Patrick, has been by my side for five years now and is my rock... he is also a crazy dog lover! I have a heart for the arts and take acting classes for fun. Acting has taught me so much about transparency and the emotions of others, which translates to my interactions with our amazing couples and their families.
My heart soars when all the details of a couple's big day come together and there is nothing but joy to see on their faces. I pay homage to pretty linens, lush greenery, and watching silly wedding dance moves. My intention as a member of the team is always to be sincere while getting to know and understand our couples in order to best serve them o their day, because it truly is all about you!
A life long flower lover, it was only natural that I would find my way to a career in the floral arts. I began to seriously pursue my passion in 2013, flowering small weddings for trusting friends and family and grew from there as a self taught floral designer. With a background in fine arts, I focus on the elements of color, texture and form when creating my pieces. Using flowers as my medium, I consider each arrangement, bouquet and boutonniere as it’s own little ephemeral work of art. I serve as the head floral designer with Detailed I Do's and love working alongside our design team to create magic for each of our couples!
When I’m not arranging flowers I enjoy spending time with my husband, Adam and our houseful of dogs, cats and (in the yard) chickens. I find baking and gardening such rewarding pastimes. There is nothing like eating the radishes I grew on a slices of crusty sourdough bread that I baked! When we want to relax and be inspired for our next baking or gardening project Adam and I binge watch The Great British Bake Off or the British gardening show, Big Dreams Small Spaces.
